History of MK's Pony

I bought my 2011 Mustang GT on December 3, 2011 from CarMax in Frederick, MD. It had about 38.9K on the odometer, and was a lowly $21K. It was in perfect shape, and just wanted me to buy it. Why you ask?

I've always been a "Rag Top Man" and I've been missing that I've not had one ever since my Ex made me sell off my beloved 69 Firebird Convertible! I've always wanted a Mustang, even back when I was a HS/College kid and was working on my GTO. I thought a nice Tang as a project would be fun. So, here I go!

I did a CarFax on my Pony before I bought it, and it had an interesting life. It was originally bought in Berlin, MD. (Welcome to the Eastern Shore, Can we say OC.?). But that owner only put about 1500 miles on it and sold it off. Then it was bought by someone who titled it in FL., but seemed to get all its service in VA. I guess some snow bird looking to avoid taxes?

Finally, this fall it went up for sale in the Richmond, VA. CarMax. I asked for it to be Xferred to Frederick, and bought it. Yes, it looked GREAT, but I knew it had some issues. First it was shoed with Firestone tires that felt like pudding on the road... Gotta go! The suspension was too weak, and rolled too much in the turns... Gotta go! Had the crappy entertainment package, and the low end dash... Gotta go!

But, I LOVE a project, and here we go! Stay tuned for all the upgrades, fixes, and fun stuff!
